*UPDATE* Milton School Stabbing

A previous release indicating a male was arrested earlier on Wednesday evening and that a weapon was recovered was erroneous; as that arrest was for a separate unrelated matter.

However, the suspect in the double slashing outside of Tiger Jeet School was indeed arrested later in the evening. Overnight, Detectives executed a search warrant at that suspect's home and a knife was recovered.

This was an isolated incident and there is no threat to students or staff at the school.

A 13 year old Milton teen faces several weapons charges. He was released to the custody of his parents and will appear in Youth Court later this month.

The injuries sustained to the other two youths are considered minor in nature.
