The Halton District School Board is holding an I-STEM Open House for students, families and community members to learn about a new regional program for secondary students in Halton and beyond. The four-year program, located at Aldershot School, will begin in September 2019 with students entering Grade 9.
Who: Hosted by Aldershot School staff, Halton District School Board senior staff and I-STEM Program Development and Advisory Partners. Halton District School Board. Trustees will be in attendance.
What: There will be a presentation about the new four-year program, I-STEM certificate and application process from 7 - 7:30 p.m. At 7:30 p.m. there will be a panel discussion with I-STEM Program Development and Advisory Partners. There will be an opportunity to speak with staff to discuss unique aspects of I-STEM and ask questions about the program in an open forum from 8 - 8:30 p.m.
