Temporary Closure and Relocation of Acton Station
The Halton Regional Police Service has closed the 10 Division substation located at 315 Queen Street in Acton. Effective immediately, the station is closed to both officers and the public.
After a short renovation period, 10 Division will reopen at a new address, 22 Main Street South in Acton. This renovation period is expected to last a few weeks.
Throughout the closure, there will be no disruption of service to the residents of Acton. Officers will continue to patrol and respond to calls in the community with the same high level of service.
After the renovation is completed, an open house will be held and community members will be invited to attend the new station.
The non-emergency number for residents requiring police assistance remains (905) 825-4747. As always, the public is asked to call 911 in case of emergency.
