Superior Glove Splash Pad Party Sees Over 150 Attendees Amid Unexpected Challenges

Acton, Ontario - A local splash pad party organized by Superior Glove, originally planned for a smaller gathering, recorded an attendance of over 150 individuals yesterday. The attendees included company employees, their families, Mayor Ann Lawlor, and Councillors Michael Albano, Alex Hilson, and Joseph Racinsky.

The event faced a hurdle early on July 19 when the splash pad malfunctioned. The organizers then moved the gathering to the nearby playground, allowing children to continue their play.

Later in the day, rain was observed, but the event proceeded with activities such as pizza, cupcakes, water balloon games, lawn games, and loot bags for the children.

Superior Glove hosts this event annually; this year's turnout was reported as their largest so far. The company has a longstanding association with the Halton Hills community, which has spanned over a century.

With locations from Acton to Honduras and Mexico, this event provided an opportunity for team members from different locations to gather. The company’s Honduras team, some of whom were visiting Canada for the first time, attended the event.

Superior Glove's Acton location has several departments, including a Research & Development Department, Marketing Department, and Product & Development Department.

Councillor Hilson told Acton UP, “Superior Glove is an organization that has demonstrated time and time again their commitment to people and their community. This ‘family event’ was an example of their continued philosophy of ‘people-first’ and a lot of fun for those who attended. Looking forward to next year.”

For those interested in upcoming events, Superior Glove will be participating in the "Tour the Hills" event, where they will introduce a 9-hole mini putt game for attendees. More details are available on their official Facebook page.
