Police responding to reports of shots fired at a Georgetown residence The Halton Regional Police Service has responded to reports of shots being fired at a residence on Garrison Square in Georgetown. There are no reports of injuries. Area residents should expect ongoing heavy police presence and should avoid this location. A male suspect was observed fleeing the scene in a compact white vehicle; direction of travel not known. That suspect is described as male, approx. 5'9", wearing a dark hoodie with possibly a darker coloured jacket. Suspect was seen with a black handgun. If seen, do not approach. Call 9-1-1.
