Pedestrian Struck in Milton


​On October 16th, 2019, at approximately 7:30am, a collision occurred at the intersection of Thompson Road and Laurier Avenue in the Town of Milton. At this time, a thirty-five year old Milton man was crossing northbound within the west crosswalk when he was struck by a westbound Toyota CH-R that was being operated by a forty-eight year old Milton man. The pedestrian was thrown some distance and came to rest on the roadway west of the intersection. He was transported to the hospital where he remains with critical injuries. The driver of the Toyota was not injured. The cause of the collision is still under investigation, and anyone who witnessed the collision who has not yet spoken to police are asked to call the Collision Reconstruction Unit at 905-825-4747 ext. 5065.
