Halton Regional Police are continuing to assist Durham Regional Police in locating a missing 72 year old Whitby woman, considered vulnerable, who was last seen Tuesday March 10th. Police are searching for a missing, vulnerable 72-year-old female who was last seen leaving Whitby yesterday in her vehicle. She failed to show up at a scheduled doctor's appointment. During the evening of March 10th, Halton Regional Police received a call of a slow yet erratic driver on Highway 25 near 10 Side Road in Halton Hills. The vehicle description and licence plate matched that of the missing woman. The vehicle was gone upon arrival of Halton officers. The area was checked with negative results. Halton further conducted an extensive daylight search for the vehicle on Wednesday March 11th with negative results. The missing woman, Elisabeth MORTON, 72, is described as female, white, 5'2" short white curly hair, medium to large build. It is believed that she may be lost and unable to make it back home. MORTON's motor vehicle is described as a blue, 4 door, Chrysler 300C with a license plate of 23JA48. The plate has a Blue Jays logo on it.
