It’s summer! Thursday Nights Open Mic on the patio is in full swing. Last week we moved inside due to weather but still had a great turnout. Come out and jam with the Acton City Limits or simply enjoy some amazing live music, drinks and snacks. Starts at 7 pm, every Thursday. See you there. Our next Trivia night is July 21st with a souvlaki dinner. Check further details on our site. Did you know that as of July 1st you can become a member of Branch 197 for only $30. Which is half of the regular annual fee? You can sign up online at https://legion.ca / or or pop by the branch to pick up an application. Come out and help support Canada’s Veterans. We are starting a Buddy Check Program for our Acton veterans. The first meeting is July 11th at 10 am in our lounge. Come and enjoy coffee and snacks with your fellow veterans. We look forward to our veterans(Military Regular/Prime Reservists and RCMP personnel to gather and engage in some great conversation as part of the Canadian wide BSO legion focused on Operation Stress Injuries.
