April 27 – July 23, 2022
Reception: Sunday, May 1 from 1 – 4 pm in the Helson Gallery
Exhibition Talk with Curators Barbara Mitchell and Judy Daley at 2 pm
Featuring over 60 works by noted Canadian artists, this exhibition traces the influence of French Impressionism during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Awaken your senses with light filled canvases and appreciate why Impressionism was described “… as though all at once a window opens and the sun and air enter your house in torrents.” (Marie Bracquemond, Impressionist artist)
As a courtesy, we ask that you consider wearing a mask while attending the reception. Please RSVP to Judy Daley by April 28, 2022 judyd@haltonhills.ca
Gallery Hours: Wed – Sun from 1 – 5 pm; Closed Sundays during July. Please note that the gallery is staffed by volunteer docents and our hours are subject to their availability.
