Halton Police and Community Partners Mentor Oakville Youth at MY CAMP During the week of July 22- 26, 2019, ten Oakville youths participated in MY CAMP, a police lead initiative with Oakville School Liaison Officers mentoring youth in topics of community safety and well-being and participating in leadership activities. The initiative partnered the Halton Regional Police Service with ProAction Cops & Kids, Oakville Fire, Halton EMS and ROCK - Reach Out Centre for Kids. MY CAMP was funded by ProAction Cops & Kids, a charitable organization that provides funding for police programs for youth at risk.
