Halton Catholic School Board To Hold Strike January 21 2020

Halton Catholic School Board will hold a one day strike on January 21, 2020. Acton UP just received a letter from Director of Education Pat Daly stating... "Dear Parents and Guardians, As a follow up to the email you received on January 10, 2020, we are writing to let you know of a new development in the Ontario English Catholic Teachers’ Association (OECTA) job action. We were notified today that OECTA, representing Catholic teachers across the province has given notice that they will hold a one-day, province-wide full withdrawal of services (strike) on Tuesday, January 21, 2020. We are currently gathering information and will follow up with parents and guardians as soon as we have more to share.
