On Friday December 17th, 2023 at 2:26pm Georgetown Market Place (280 Guelph Street, Georgetown) was evacuated for a potential fire.
A fire was located in the public washroom and was extinguished by Halton Hills Fire Department. No persons were injured.
The fire is believed to be suspicious in nature and the Halton Regional Police is investigating.
The Georgetown Market Place remains closed at this time.
