Acton enjoys free skate event
This past weekend people young and old from in and around Acton laced up their skates for exercise, family and fun. 75 people attended the free skate sponsored by Sarah Brophy-Platts of Royal LePage Escarpment Realty. The event was held at the Acton Arena on February 16 and included special guest Olaf from the Disney movie ‘Frozen' and free popcorn.
People got to meet and greet with Olaf and enjoy an hour of free skating courtesy of Sarah Brophy-Platts.
Sarah told Acton UP “Putting on community events like this one is very rewarding for me. I am very fortunate to live and work in the same town, a town I grew up in and now raise my family in. It was so nice to see many familiar faces and equally exciting to see new ones.”
