Female Found Without Vital Signs in Burlington

On July 15, 2020, just before 10:30 am, the Halton Regional Police Service responded to an incident in the area of Queensway Drive and Guelph Line in Burlington for initial reports of a female located without vital signs. Upon arrival, officers and paramedics performed CPR and the female was ultimately revived. The female was transported to hospital, where she remains with unknown injuries.


A male was observed with the female prior to police arrival and left before talking with police. He was subsequently arrested, not in relation to the female's injuries.


The investigation is ongoing at this time. Police will not be commenting on the relationship between the accused and the female.

Police do not believe there to be any known, ongoing, related risk to public safety in regards to this incident.
