HALTON HILLS, ON/ February 5, 2019 – Once again the Halton Hills Public Library is holding a Family Day celebration, full of activities and fun at both the Acton and Georgetown Branches on Monday, February 18 from 1-5pm.
There will be a variety of activities throughout the building for the entire family to enjoy. Activities include:
Family storytime
Lego building
Scavenger hunt
A special digital storytime
Variety of board games
Challenging puzzles
And more
“It will be an afternoon of family fun and activities that will be sure to fill the Library with laughter and excitement.” said Lisa Hunziger, Children’s Services Librarian. “It’s such a pleasure to spend this time with families in our community.”
No registration is required for the day, just drop in and take part. Family Day is just one of the ways the Library offers families a chance to spend time together, especially if the weather outside is less than perfect.
The Halton Hills Public Library celebrates all families including the traditional family, single parents, same-sex couples, work families and friends—any community of people who love and support each other. It’s all about the importance of spending quality time with the people around us. The Halton Hills Public Library hosts Family Day in support of this ideal.
