Countdown to Plein Air Challenge in Acton Dear Artist – we`re looking forward to our upcoming Helson Gallery Plein Air Painting Challenge, an Ontario Plein Air Society Endorsed Event. Saturday, July 20 2019 at Prospect Park in Acton (Park Avenue and Knox Street, Acton) Registration: 8:45 – 9:30 a.m. Painting starts at 9:30. Medium of your choice; You may offer your work for sale. 12:30 pm: You must be back at the registration area to prepare your work Judging begins at 12:45; between 1:45 - 2 pm prizes will be announced. $500 in prizes to be awarded Registration fee: $10 (no charge for members of the Ontario Plein Air Society; please provide proof of current membership) Fyi – a light lunch will be provided to artists while the jurying takes place. Please let me know if you are planning to attend so I can place our food order in advance. In the event of a severe weather warning, we have a rain date scheduled for July 21 at this same venue. Fingers crossed that we won`t need to cancel but I will be monitoring the weather and will endeavour to alert artists in advance if it looks like this is the case.
