Blue Springs Animal Rehabilitation Center held an Open House for the public on Sunday, July 15. The Center is in its first couple months of business and was looking to greater introduce its services to the Acton community.
“We are proud of the progress that we have seen in our patients in the short period of time that we have been working with them” said Kristy DesRoche, Co-Owner at Blue Springs Animal Rehabilitation Center. “In addition, we have worked hard to create an environment that is relaxing and enjoyable for both the pet and the owner. We feel that we have achieved this”.
Located under the BIack Creek Animal Hospital at the corner of Fourth Line and Highway 7, between Acton and Georgetown, it took two years for the Center to open. They provide services to pets after surgery, or to those with neurological problems and those dealing with common aging. The Center has a pool for animals to swim in and a treadmill for animals to develop mobility on, along with many other services. They even provide pet boarding for families that are taking trips away from home.
What the Center does is unique in the North Halton area - it’s not just another veterinary clinic.
DesRoche reminds pet owners that the Center isn’t just for animals recovering after surgery. “We designed and built the Center with relaxation and fun in mind. A visit here should be exciting for a pet and their owner. In addition to rehab, we offer recreational activities such as swimming and puppy play time, as well as scheduled special events like group play”.
