Arrest Made in Connection to Thefts From Vehicles (21/06/21)

Investigators with the Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) 2 District (Oakville) Street Crime Unit have made an arrest in connection with a series of vehicle entries.


Between May 21 and June 16, 2021, a total of eight vehicles parked near construction sites in Oakville and Milton were entered while the owners of the vehicles were working.


Various items including credit cards and cash were stolen.


On Friday June 18, 2021, Lance Zambosco (46) of Burlington was arrested. He has been charged with the following:

  • Theft Under $5000 (8 counts)

  • Fraudulent Use of Credit Cards (4 counts)

  • Fail to Comply with Probation (6 counts)

  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime

  • Dangerous Drive

  • Zambosco was held in custody pending a bail hearing.

  • The HRPS would like to remind residents of the following tips to help prevent becoming a victim to these types of crimes:

  • Ensure your vehicle doors are always locked

  • Always roll up your windows

  • Remove all valuables from your vehicle
