HALTON HILLS, ON – The Town of Halton Hills is now accepting applications for its "Al Fresco in the Hills" temporary patio program, the outdoor dining initiative designed to support local restaurants, bars, and other food and drink establishments.
“For the past two years the Town has offered the Al Fresco in the Hills program to help support the recovery and resiliency efforts of local restaurants throughout the pandemic,” said Mayor Rick Bonnette. “We are pleased to once again offer this popular program and I encourage everyone to show their support for our community and local businesses by getting out on a patio.”
Al Fresco in the Hills was initially launched in June 2020 to provide new or additional seating opportunities at food and drink establishments through the addition of temporary patios. The program was successful in supporting the establishment of 16 patios.
