Acton’s Market on 7 Back This Year
Last year we saw a shift in the Farmers Market in Acton. It has been relocated to the parking lot at Bethel Church, throughout last season the market saw an increase in shoppers and got a great start.
Thanks to the dedication and hard work of Angela Tremblay and her volunteer board of directors that include;
Angela Tremblay- Market President
Tammy Courvoisier- Market Treasurer
Mandi Townshend- Market Assistant, and
Janice Sukhiani- Market Ambassador.
Acton UP caught UP with Angela, and she was happy to give us a quote

The Market boasts approximately 19 local vendors and is always adding more, with wares that include; fresh produce, prepared foods and meals that can be taken home, Ice cream, Meats and breads, a soap lady, King’s court Wine, cheese curds, crafts like jewellery and decorated metal art, along with crepes and French pastries this year!
At the March 19, 2018, town council meeting, Angela made a proposal for municipal assistance for this coming season. As approved by town council, the market will receive the following assistance to support the market this year and aid in its growth.
Fee waiver of $1825, marketing and promo funds of $175 and special project and start-up funds of $1000 which will aid in the purchase of garbage cans and collection, picnic tables, and new A-frame signage for the market.
All of us at Acton Up are wishing the market continued the success this year, as a great community event and the opportunity for residents to buy fresh, fun and locally sourced products.
