8 Year Old Scooter Rider Struck by Car on Mill St. Acton At approximately 6:40 p.m. June 24, 2019 an eight year old boy was riding on his scooter down Cobble Hill Road in Acton. The boy attempted to cross by the cross walk (going from Cobble Hill to Mill St.) when he was struck by Hyundai Accent hatchback, heading down Mill St. Halton Hills Fire Department arrived first on scene followed by EMS and Halton Regional Police Service. The child is conscious and in stable condition with minor head injuries and is expected to fully recover. "There might be a couple bruises on his arms" said one parent of the child. According to an Officer at the scene, no charges have been laid at this time. One witness also claimed damage was done to the road as a result of the Hyundai.
